The moment of the revelation!!!!

Probably some would remember that I said Trina wasn’t exactly like humans… well… this is why. She’s part of a race named Necuratul… and whaaaat… may I say, is a Necuratul? I’m telling you.

This is a concept I worked for more than… 10 years? more or less… well, whatever. I decided to finally draw this concept along with some information around… mind my crappy hadwritting…


Necuratuls are an ancient, VERY ancient race, that evolved from the dinosaurs (their DNA have more specific traces of those known as Velociraptors), that used to live in the third planet (Earth), they became anthopomorphs, ditched the scales in favor of a thick, paradoxically soft skin at touch, and added a couple of adaptations in the process.

This race are basically amphibian mammals, their breath system, however is more evolved than that of the amphibians, as they have a double conduct and set of organs, that are regulated inside a membrane, which opens one conduct or another depending on the ambience (water or earth), when they are underwater, they breath from their gills, located below, above their cheeks, in earth, they use their noses, which also has a very skilled olfative system, capable of detecting even pheromones and the levels of them.

They also are fast swimmers and runners, excellent climbers and an exceptional visual system, that allows them to see in the dark clearly. They also got an advanced inmune system, which bases it’s work solely on DNA detection, meaning they don’t prevent illnesses by using proteinic chains, like others do, this prevents them from getting common illnesses, like flu (which is impossible to even innoculate in humans, for example, due to it’s high protein chain mutation rate, but still, always keep the same DNA chain). In short, they cannot be infected by viruses, bacteria or common illnesses, also, their cell regeneration rate is really high, allowing them not only to look young and last longer (normal necuratuls like 500 years, royal line blood live a bit more than 1000), but also to regenerate parts of their body faster. (for example, they can close a cut in seconds, while regenerating an arm is possible, taking months or a year, depending of if they are well feed or not)

Talking about food, their food income is rather… eccentric, they can eat meat and cooked food, wine and other things, but their main source of feed and resources for their cells, it’s blood, blood helps maintaining them good and in shape, also allows them to use their abilities for shape shifting.

Taking of that, their shape shifting ability is limited to the size of the suspect to “clone their appearance” meaning they can only mimic the appearance of humans, feruas (like when Trina was a white cat) or any race that matches this criteria, this also excludes anything anatomically different, like ferals or bugs.

Returning to the blood point, if they cannot feed for a long period of time (say, 6 months) they enter in hibernation, in which they lower all their system functions to the bare minimum, until they can feed again.

Their reproduction cycle it’s quite different, they can lay eggs, but the product needs breast feed, that’s why they developed glands and breasts. They cannot get pregnant from any other race rather than theirs, as their cells combat others like a threat, if they recognize Necuratul blood or DNA in others cells, that means impregnation is possible.

Also, while their immune system have this properties, their blood can “contaminate” others… meaning that, if someone drinks this blood, or enters their system, they suffer a mutation, in humans, this causes a temporary death, followed by a “revival”, with many nasty consequences, being one of them getting porphyria, so they aren’t unable to walk by the sun. In other races the efefcts vary, but I will discuss this later.

As they can use human form, Necuratuls have often been confused with the common folklore of the vampires in many parts of the globe, causing even deaths in their rows, that’s the reason why they are real cautious when establishing contact with humans.

As a part of their multiple repertory of tactics, including being natural hunters, Necuratuls use seduction as their most powerful weapon to obtain blood, as they say “Humans are easy, just give them sex or vices and you get all what you want of them”. This also applies to many races, as long as they fall in their tactics. Because of this, almost all Necuratuls are bisexual, they don’t care the gender as long as they can feed.
